The Treo at Tria

Tria is one of the latest boutique additions to Grand Avenue in Williamsburg. Opened in October 2008, owners Ryan Wilde, Georgia Varidakis, and Valerie Bowers artfully combine vintage, gothic and industrial influences to create a collection of hats, jewelry, and shoes that add the perfect vintage edge to an outfit.

Ryan Wilde, the milliner, adorns classic hat styles, such as fedoras and bowlers, with dark, gothic accessories including wire, skulls, and dead fan coral. Georgia Varidakis blends natural, industrial, and vintage elements to create her jewelry. And Valerie Bowers collects dead stock earrings and combs estate sales for vintage designer shoes and accessories. The three inspire and influence one another and the result are pieces that work in perfect harmony with one another.

Clear standouts in the collection are the Black Fedora Hat with barb wire ($220), the French Mother of Pearl Opera Glasses ($115), Ferragamo Oxford Shoes ($83.00), and the vintage stamp holder necklace.
