NYC native Guenevere Rodriguez has been designing jewelry since the age of 8. Her best friend’s mother was a jewelry designer and her “play dates” consisted of trips to the bead markets, and jewelry making.
At age 12, Guenevere made her first wholesale deal to sell her jewelry in a Soho boutique. But then through her teens, she drifted away from jewelry to acting and modeling, and later went to college to study business. And then, at age 22, she returned to jewelry and to huge success. She was featured in major fashion magazines – Vogue, Elle, and Vanity Fair to name a few. It’s been a rollercoaster ride for Guenevere, full of extraordinary achievements, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
Now, Guenevere is taking everything she’s learned and experienced and putting it into her work. She’s picked the best materials to work with and is using her training in energy work, such as Reiki, to produce jewelry infused with positive energy and intentions. And the result is divine.
One of her bestsellers – the Love Knot Ring (featured below on the left) – is designed to draw positive energy into the wearer. The Venus ring (featured below on the right with a set of other rings), with a stone that moves freely around the ring, brings positive energy to travels. And the positive energy is just the icing on the cake. Each piece is simple yet intricate, and powerful yet subdued, reflecting the self-assurance of a designer who’s come into her own.
